The Accessible Devices Program (ADP) in Ontario provides financial assistance to individuals with long-term physical disabilities to help them purchase mobility devices such as wheelchairs. In order to obtain funding, the patient must be assessed for eligibility determination. Once approved and Prescription is granted, the ADP assists with 75% of the cost of the wheelchair. These costs must be directly billed to the MInistry by the Vendor.
